Matt graduated from the University of Colorado’s PA school Spring 2010. Before PA school he used his undergraduate degrees in philosophy and psychology to work extensively in inpatient psychiatry, outpatient mental health, and after-school programing for at-risk youth. He also spent time publishing researching in the areas of genetics and aging. After PA school, he worked in the Emergency Department and Community Health Centers caring for chronic and acute life threatening disease. During the last few years his interest and knowledge in integrative health and psychiatry has grown. As a medical practitioner, and he strives to integrate information from all modalities of care as they help his patients achieve their health goals. He is excited to have recently joined the team at Integrative Psychiatric Healing Center. For fun and relaxation he spends time in the mountains and ocean, rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, and surfing.
